Jon Gruden Secures The Bag And Signs 10 Year, $100 Million Deal

Written by on 5 Jan 2018

Jon Gruden has been grooming young quarterbacks for the past few years. On “Gruden’s QB Camp” we saw the former coach discuss film review and field protocol with future NFL talent.

The segment and his stint as a broadcaster for ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” seem to have paid off for the famed coach. This Tuesday, he is expected to be named the new head coach of the Oakland Raiders.

The deal is said to be the longest for any head coach in NFL history. It also will make Gruden the highest paid head coach ever in NFL history.

The contract is for 10 years and $100 million. In 2003, Jon Gruden won a Super Bowl ring in his 1st season coaching the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Ironically, the victory saw Tampa Bay topping Oakland in Super Bowl XXXVII. Jon Gruden also coached the Oakland Raiders from 1998-2001.
