Review by Richard Caldwell
The holiday season is officially here! Men, women and children alike love it. Thanksgiving and Christmas is right around the corner. With the holidays approaching, new movie releases are as well. First up is the latest adaptation of “The Grinch” by Dr. Seuss.
The franchise’s latest version was handled by Illumination Entertainment. The newest film is wonderfully fantastic and may be the best of them all. You can go wrong when you work with the same company that brought us “Minions” and “The Secret Life of Pets.” One of my favorite parts of the film is the multicultural “Whoville.” It really adds more topics to the film and allows the menacing Grinch to expand his wings as he flourishes in the dastardly deed department.
Overall, I enjoyed the film. I personally think its amazing. Everything from the inclusion of modern Christmas music classics to the films new soundtrack. Tyler The Creator’s rendition of the classic “You’re A Mean One” is wonderful. I think parents and children alike will enjoy this remake of a Christmas classic. The film is just in time for the holiday season and right on schedule for a family trip to the local movie theater.
