On DVD & VOD on July 16, starring Darien Sills-Evans alongside Stephen Hill (Magnum P.I.) and Jade Johnson (Luke Cage), “One Bedroom” is the story of Melissa and Nate, once madly in love, now reliving their relationship through humorous yet honest flashbacks as it slowly comes to an end.
Described as being “at times, hilarious and sad…both a great Brooklyn film and a great story about the joy and pain of relationships” (Film Threat) and powered by “two terrific performances and a sentimental yet brutally honest heart” (That Moment In).
Premiered at Tallahassee Film Festival, where it won the Audience Award, went on to have a healthy festival life, including official selections at the Brooklyn Film Festival, Bushwick Film Festival, New Voices in Black Cinema, and Austin Revolution Film Festival where Sills-Evans won Best Director.
