“Church & State” Brings Historic LGBTQ v. Church Of LDS Court Case To Forefront

“Church & State” is directed by Holly Tuckett and Kendall Wilcox. It’s a film that chronicles the improbable story of a brash, inexperienced gay activist and a tiny Salt Lake City law firm that joined forces to topple Utah’s gay marriage ban.
It is a story of trump, setback, and a little-known lawsuit that should have failed. However, instead paved the way for a U.S. Supreme Court decision that legalized same sex unions nationwide.
