Noah Schnapp (“Stranger Things”) stars in “ABE,” arriving on DVD on June 2. “ABE” follows twelve-year-old Abe, an aspiring chef, who wants his cooking to bring people together–but his half-Israeli, half-Palestinian family has never had a meal that didn’t end in a fight. He soon meets an adventurous street chef who encourages him to think outside his old cuisines. Can even the most lovingly-cooked family dinner can heal old wounds? Also starring Mark Margolis (“Breaking Bad”), Dagmara Dominczyk (“The Count of Monte Cristo”), the film was screened at Sundance, São Paulo International Film Festival, TIFF, and Montclair Film Festival, the film won the Audience Award at the Washington Jewish Film Festival, and screened at Zlin Film Festival where it was nominated for the Golden Slipper (Best Feature Film for Youth).
