Friendship is a wonderful thing. Especially when you’re friends with people you really care about. We only have the present and the present is now. Most people can look forward to the future, but most are enslaved to their past. “The Honor List” examines how old friends can remain friends now and into the future.
“The Honor List” follows the story of three friends as they attempt to honor their recently deceased friend. Their friend was kind, passionate, loyal and impacted each of their lives definitely. After her passing, the friends attempt to honor her by completing a list of things they planned to do before graduation. They go through various trials and deal with adversity as they attempt to complete the list. However, anything can be completed when it’s done with love in mind.
This film is a wonderful telling of a High School friends. Are you truly friends or are you friends at the moment? No one really knows until you loyalty is tested and proven. “The Honor List” touches on each of these qualities well. Any fan of High School drama films will enjoy this movie with no problem.
High School can be an interesting time for a teenager. That’s where most learn to interact with others and make new friends. High School is also a place where we begin to figure out what we want to do with our lives. Sometimes that self discovery can be hard, but that’s what friends are for. “Daphne and Velma” examines that friendship and so much more.
Daphne and Velma are two online friends who have yet to me in person. However, all that changes after Daphne moves to Ridge Valley with her family. Velma already lives there and learns her and Daphne will be attending the same school. Their friendship gets off to a rocky start, but there love for science and mysteries bring them together. Daphne and Velma then team up to solve the mysterious happenings around their school.
It’s a new age telling of how Daphne and Velma became friends before they later meet Fred and the rest of the gang. The characters are still funny and quirky as ever. The film is definitely filled with suspense, but in a fun, comical way. “Daphne and Velma” is definitely a great Saturday night film. “Scooby Doo” fans will really enjoy this film when it’s released on May 22, 2018.

Friends are a man’s best and Johnathan and Andy are two peas in a pod. Their father’s met after a chance encounter at the hospital while their wives gave birth. With their dad’s instantly hitting it off, Johnathan and Andy would grow up to become friends. Their friendship gets interesting after Johnathan begins dating an aspiring lawyer named Jenna. Andy, being Johnathan’s best friend, is sure that Jenna looks like a well known adult film star.
The movie is hilarious at times. Its humor also borders on quirkiness. Johnathan being cool as ever also begins to have his mild manner tested. This happens as he has to deal with Jenna’s brother in law. A brother in law who is also just happens to be Johnathan’s boss Jenna’s brother in law, Joe is overbearing at times, but also likes Johnathan.
Tension ensues between Joe and Johnathan after Joe doesn’t want Johnathan’s friend to accompany him on a trip. Scott is Johnathan’s friend and also employed by Joe at the firm. He’s smart and intelligent, but has questions surrounding him that limits his success. The film is comedic, but steers near drama. “Who’s Jenna…?” features a cast of good actors and actresses. Trust is the rarest form of currency in the world. Trust can take you places and buy you things you’ve only imagined. Everybody wants it, but everyone can’t get it. However, we all have a personal bank of trust with our families. Family is there for you at your highest and lowest points. That’s the bridge that shouldn’t be burned. “The Misguided” examines that bridge and bank of trust through the eyes of two brothers.
Levi returns to live with his brother Wendel after dropping out of college. Living with Wendel isn’t Levi’s first option, but he has nowhere else to go after being kicked out of his home by his girlfriend. Wendel lives a crazed life. He’s a drug dealer and lives the lifestyle effortlessly. Levi encounters Wendel’s ex girlfriend after living with his brother for awhile and the two share a connection. “The Misguided” follows the growth of this connection and all it’s ups and downs.
“The Misguided” is definitely a film for mature audiences. The comedic drama sparks a few laughs, but is heavy on the drama. However, the fight scene between the brothers is one of the funniest situations any two siblings can possibly find themselves in. The film focuses on the connection between family and relationship bonds. When is it ok to date a person your family doesn’t approve of? Is it ever really ok or is it just something you deal with? This movie answers both of those questions.
This film has a good look. The acting is the best thing about the film. You really find yourself believing the characters and getting sucked into their lives. The film is set in upscale living spaces mostly. The characters venture out into the city, but they never go into many dark areas. I think the scenery is fitting for the story and the characters.
Overall, I enjoyed this film. All of the characters are relatable. The father of Levi’s girlfriend was my personal favorite. You never know which way he will respond to the other characters. I liked the part of “The Misguided.” The film is for mature audiences, but it’s a good date night film. It keeps your attention easily throughout and is worthy of applause for the films high points.

420 Massacre is a comedic horror film filled with endless entertainment. The stoner over provides the perfect background for the characters to develop. Gore is definitely in the film as blood is prevalent and one seen even has intestines rolling out of a characters stomach.
A group of friends journey to the woods for a 420 camping trip to celebrate the holiday. The group consists of five women who are ready to party as they enjoy their freedom. Trouble ensues after the women are given some weed by seemingly deranged man. However, the man once hiked the woods with his friend before his friend was killed for the weed they possessed.
420 Massacre is a good horror film for female stoners as it touches on many subjects. Don’t get me wrong it’s a horror film, but also includes friendship and romance. The love story between two women adds another level of depth to the film making it worth the watch.
Jamie Bernadette (I Spit on Your Grave: Déjà Vu, Killing Joan), Vanessa Rose Parker (Samurai Cop 2), Justine Wachsberger (Divergent), Stacey Danger (‘’Jean-Claude Van Johnson’’), Marissa Pistone (Raze), Jim Storm (Dark Shadows), Mark Schroeder (‘’Pretty Little Liars’’) Jim Round, Drew Talbert and James Gregory star in a Dylan Reynolds film.
Inhale. Exhale. Scream. 4/20 Massacre premieres 4/3 this April.

Friends and family are the most important people in our lives. We’re born alone, but we grow to love others. Those we see first have our heart and those we form bonds with are tied together by blood. Loyalty is a key principle in any environment. “Honor Up” examines the role loyalty plays in the lives of its cast.
“Honor Up” follows the story of OG. OG is a street hustler, but non violent. He’s loyal to his friends and especially his family. Premo ia like family to OG. Premo is the person who brought him into the game and is a father figure to OG. Premo wants OG to be everything he wasn’t, but OG must first survive the streets to do so. OG’s crew consists of younger guys who are loyal to OG, but must be disciplined to maintain order. “Honor Up” follows OG as he attempts to keep that order while remaining loyal to the people he loves the most.
This film makes you think. Is everyone you love on your side? Do the love you the same way that you love them? “Honor Up” touches upon all that. It also examines loyalty among thieves and is it honorable to be dishonorable. Is it ok for you to turn on your crew if you’re being honorable to the ones who you truly love? The movie is currently available on all streaming platforms. Watch the full trailer below:
