Alabama State Names Mo Williams Men’s Basketball Coach

Mo Williams is a former NBA Allstar guard. The famed basketball player is a Jackson, MS native and well respected.

He captured his first NBA championship alongside Lebron James. This while playing with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Recently, Williams was named the head coach of the Alabama State Men’s Basketball team. Congratulations to Mo, who also attended the University of Alabama where he played guard as a member of their basketball program before being drafted by the Utah Jazz.

John Cena has plans for helping this year’s high school graduates. Cena will kick off the “Oh, the Places You’ll Go! Virtual Graduation Celebration” on Friday, May 1.

The event is organized by Random House Children’s Books and Dr. Seuss Enterprises. It was planned as a way to honor the Class of 2020 during quarantine.

Fans can tune in on May 1st and watch as John delivers the keynote speech at the commencement. The speech will broadcast at noon/et on Cena’s Twitter page.
