Life Imitates Art: Introducing @juncaimusic

Jun Cai is a self-made entrepreneur. At the age of 14, he moved to the United States with his parents, who worked tirelessly to instill the traditional Eastern values of academic excellence over all other endeavors. Jun, however, was cut from a different cloth. Through his exposure to Western society, where opportunities are directly proportional to demand, he quickly realized classroom achievement was not the only pathway to the best of life. And, following this intuition, Jun spent his college years exploring his love for the arts and business.

Graduating from Washington University in St. Louis in 2005, Jun walked away from the podium with a sense of two life certainties. First, he would never work for someone else to earn a living and second, he would find a way to create a life filled with the art that moves him.

Staying true to this entrepreneurial and artistic spirit, Jun set out to self-fund, self-perform, and executive-produce his own music and visual content. His first project, NO ACCIDENTS, embraces the symbiotic relationship between his real experiences and his pursuit of self-expression. Through his music, Jun celebrates life’s triumphs & struggles and authentically holds true to the long-held maxim: life imitates art, art imitates life.

Lil Wayne Sues Baby and Cash Money Records for $51 Million!!!!

As previous thought, Lil Wayne has sued Baby and Cash Money Records for a reported $51 million. The rapper claims that Baby and Cash Money have been withholding millions of dollars from him during the delay of “Tha Carter V.” and the self-proclaimed “Birdman Jr.” believes that is more than enough to get him out of his contact with Cash Money Records. According to TMZ, Wayne was supposed to get $10 million for the album. $8 million was supposed to be an advance and the other $2 million was to be paid upon completion of the album. Lil Wayne is also asking the judge to make him a joint copyright owner of all Young Money recordings. This includes recordings from Nicki Minaj, Drake, and other Young Money artists.
